Title: Building blocks from the 1st church

 

Truth Verse: Acts 2:46, 47 They had a single purpose (unity of spirit) and went to the Temple

every day. They ate at each other’s homes and shared their food with glad and humble hearts.

They kept praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people. And every day the Lord

was adding to them people who were being saved.

Truth Story: We ask the leaf, “Are you complete in yourself?” and the leaf answers, “No, my life

is in the branches.” We ask the branch, and the branch answers, “No, my life is in the trunk.”

We ask the trunk, and it answers “No, my life is in the root.” We ask the root, and it answers,

“No, my life is in the trunk and the branches and the leaves. Keep the branches stripped of

leaves and I shall die.” So it is with the great tree of being. Nothing is completely and merely

Prayer:  Lord, help my life to be like the trees of the Lord that are full of sap. Let me be a conduit of Your presence to a lost and hurting world. When I encounter places of fragmented and broken relationships help me to be a voice of encouragement accompanied with your touch of healing and mercy. Lord let me stay ever connected to You, the True Vine, that I would be a branch that is productive and fruitful.
